With over 30 years developing software Gary has worked in many fields and on lots of projects. He has been active in the crypto ecosystem since early 2011 with the development of the popular MultiBit Bitcoin wallet and several open source libraries. He has advised large financial organizations on their blockchain strategies and guided their implementation and operations.

A highly motivated professional with over 25 years' software engineering experience within the financial industry, Steve has a degree and a Ph.D in Computer Science. He has worked for tier one investment banks across the globe, where his main focus has been on cutting edge derivatives and software to price and manage their risk. Now more focussed on blockchain technologies, Steve is also the co-founder of one of the longest running Tezos staking firms.
Dr. Numaan Ahmed Ph.D
Digital asset risk and compliance
Numaan has worked in the Risk and Compliance space for 10 years, including a role as a Chief Risk and Compliance Officer (SMF16/17) at an asset manager. He has a Ph.D in Computational Chemistry obtained from University College London. Numaan has primarily worked in asset management and private banking covering all asset classes. His focus has been investment risk, regulatory risk, performance attribution and automation of all oversight and reporting.

Gary's career in finance has spanned over 30 years. During this time he has headed up the operations of a multi-billion dollar investment manager dealing in both funded and synthetic securities. More recently within Treasury he managed the financing and hedging requirements of a number of funds. His experience of both front and back offices has given him a rare insight into end-to-end processing, the benefits/challenges of automation and the changing regulatory environment.

Colin has been involved with the IT industry for many years. He has gained a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a PhD in Software Engineering. Over his long career he has specialised in designing, developing and ultimately managing large scale software financial infrastructures for tier one investment banks.

Ahmed has over 10 years of experience in data science and software development. He obtained a PhD in Bioinformatics from Kyoto University. Ahmed worked as a biomedical researcher focusing on deriving insights from large genomics data. With his interest in Blockchain technologies since 2017, he is keen to apply his skills in the field.

Phil has a diverse engineering background in security and identity, A.I., government and finance. He is passionate about delivering the best possible experience to users and this broad experience gained from start-ups to global companies gives him an excellent foundation for delivery.

Henry is currently a research postgraduate associated with the Theoretical Physics group at Imperial College London. He has been researching cryptocurrency since 2015 while spotting parallels in Quantum Gravity. Henry has obtained degrees in Physics with Theoretical Physics also Mathematics and Financial modelling.
James is a regulatory specialist partner at law firm gunnercooke advising blockchain, digital asset and FinTech enterprises. He lectures on FinTech, is co-author of both the RegTech and PayTech books, and has published articles on blockchain with the Journal of International Banking and Financial Law. A recognised expert in the field, James has given evidence to the UK All-Party Parliamentary Group on Blockchain and Cryptoassets, and is a named contributor to the UKJT legal statement on cryptoassets and smart contracts.
Dr. Tyler Smith Ph.D
Tyler is a globally recognized expert in the application of blockchain technology. His involvement in the crypto-space dates back to 2012, and in 2014 the Ethereum announcement by Vitalik at the Miami Bitcoin Conference convinced Tyler to devote the rest of his career to building the decentralized ecosystem. Before crypto, his early career was spent finding oil and gas all around the world as an exploration geophysicist for BHP.
Ben is a wholesale finance compliance specialist with over 20 years of industry experience. He has been focused on adoption of cryptoassets into both consumer and wholesale finance since 2013. Ben works closely with major regulators, has spent time with HSBC, PwC and Accenture, and built the world's first Interest Rate Swap Trading Platform: Swapstream.
